Super How do you describe a relationship That grows better every day? What terms should you use? As you smile, what do you say? Can you tell them how you seem to melt How her smile seems all you've seen Maybe all you tell them is Her eyes are awfully green. Or should you wax poetic? Use Ms Browning as your guide Let everyone know the full extent Your love's now deep and wide. And knowing there's a playful side With humor, laughs and such Would you deny your friends to know? It makes you love her very much. Of course they'll want to know about If passion's in the game And so you cast your eyes up high Tellings' not the same. I think of us, and how we've warmed I know we won't be shushed And I know there's a word for us Supercallifragilisticexpeallidocious! |

First time I've ever seen that last word used in a poem! Way to go sir! |

Martie - Poet DeVine Most times I write a poem - having the start in my mind but not the finish. - This was a rare case where the reverse was true. - Frankly - I am always amazed that my stuff comes out as well as it does. |
