cannot understand
the willingness of others
to miss the point
of what you have been given
this life
this love
this moments truth
that some seem
to ignore
step on
spat on
and in general
make fools of themselves
to become what?
another blade of grass
thats like the rest
ready and willing
to have it's head
chopped off every weekend
just because
everyone else is doing it
yeah simplistic
isn't it,
we all could use
just another drink
of venom
to kick life in the butt
secure our own place
become our own spirit renewed,
so whats stopping you?

How easy it is to forget what we have been given. I really needed this. Sometimes we get so caught up in what's wrong in our life that we forget about just how much we do have to appreciate in this life. Thanks!!
