I have come to love what I can never have The bitterness of reality’s nectar cringes my soul My courage seems more evading then the end of a rainbow I feel as if I am locked in a glass cage . . . Looking out but never stepping How can something so right be so frightening The real monster of it all lies within Taunting malicious words, outlining past failures One solution leads to the next excuse . . . A never-ending pattern tracing a route of my own deceit Thus leaving me a faceless man who in the end concludes . . . I have come to love what I can never have There's a peace inside us all Let it be your friend It will help you carry on In the end There's a peace inside us all -Creed |

Baerlon~ Interesting thoughts ... sometimes when we can't have what we love, we must learn to love what we have ... 'One solution leads to the next excuse ...' I like this. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
