Eye of the storm We touch and the gentle breezes give way to raging winds Forceful gales foreshadow the storm that is brewing within We kiss as the rain starts to fall wetting us with its drops Fabric adheres to soft curves hard angles as we cling to each other You lick the raindrops drinking me in We love in the tempest Claps of thunder attempt to drown out all sound but I can still hear you moaning beneath me Lightning strikes— A visual statement of the electricity between us As our passion intensifies nature follows our lead and we become the eye of the storm (c) Tara Simms ************** Storm's Aftermath Playful twinkle in each other’s eyes as we listen to the soft patter of rain hitting the roof In the distance, the promise of the storm to come as we take other’s hand and whisper “rain” with a mixture of love and longing in our smiles A brief moment of hesitation (or is it anticipation) as we step outside and let the elements surround us The wind’s embrace encouraging us to hold each other closer as the first few raindrops bring chills of pleasure to bodies heated by arousal Tender kisses becoming hungry explorations as we taste the raindrops covering our glistening skin Drinking each other in as the rain falls harder Our hair matted wet ringlets dripping rivers across our shoulders and chest as they descend to fiery places below ignited by passion Our senses alive as we open our eyes to a thousand beads of light caught in a lightning flash of raindrops on skin We can no longer hold back the consuming desires within us as the weather arrives full force the wind and rain whipping about us as we make love in the eye of the storm our bodies an intense motion of wetness and heat A symphony of nature and emotion as the fury of the storm grows to a raging crescendo thunder roaring the rain pounding our bodies as our voices cry out our passions to the dark sky The storm slowly abates rain falling softly once again as we hold each other tenderly our bodies spent from our lovemaking nightshadows illuminating our smiles as we whisper “I love you” and sneak inside to fall asleep in each other’s arms (c) Jeff Osborne (RascalX) [This message has been edited by Balladeer (edited 08-15-2000).] |

An excellent story told excellently. How about "A Stormy Affair"? or "Concerto of Love" Larghetto Jamie Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. - Virgil. "Yield thou not to adversity, but press on the more bravely". |

Balladeer, thank you, sir. Jamie, I'll run those titles by him and see what he thinks. Thank you for the suggestion. It matters not how strait the gate; How charged with punishments the scroll; I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. --W.E. Henley |

Alicat, rainclouds are on their way! Mark my words... Elizabeth, thank you. I wasn't sure if it was too "adult" for the Open forum so I ran it by the moderators first. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Lakewalker and Sunny1, Jeff and I both thank you for your comments! Take me as I am or watch me as I go |

Tara and RascalX~ Two very well-defined storm fronts ! Cataclysmic when they collide ! I think Eye Of The Storm fits the first one ... How about Storm's Aftermath for the second one ? These are both are done with excellence. Gosh ! And the local weather man just predicted 'fair skies' .... I was hoping for some stormy weather ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
