Touch My Soul Touch my soul, sweep away the tears that flow from the wellspring of my life. Take this heart step by step, teach it to love again, to be warm, to be whole. Take my hand, guide me through the darkness, show me there's light for me again. Touch my cheek, gently, softly, waken the passion I've buried so deep. Be my friend, my companion, my lover, be strong for me, when I am weak. I've died so many times, and given up on the beauty I know: touch my cheek, waken the passion, oh God, I want to love you... So. w. james beard, jr. |

I've died so many times, and given up on the beauty I know: touch my cheek, waken the passion, oh God, I want to love you... So. There is so much yearning and beauty in this piece. I know exactly how you feel. a great poem. "To the centre of the city where all roads meet, waiting for you,To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank, searching for you," Joy divison |

JWesley~ Exquisite in it's longing. You are in touch with the fiber of your being. 'Be my friend, my companion, my lover, be strong for me, when I am weak.' A lovely, lovely piece. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
