Poetry is something I like to write, Whether during the day or in the night. Through it's words I can express how I feel, It helps me to cope and deal. Having M.S. is hard to fight, But I will continue with all my might. I will continue to write for you, As long as I am physically able to do. For others with this disease, This is my only plea. Try to live each day with hope, It can help you to cope. For M.S.,I can only say, I wish you would go away. One day a cure will be found, And you will no longer be around. Cathy Bohannan This poem was written for my personal struggle with Multiple Sclerosis and to give other hope. |

Cathy~ You touch me with your hope. I have worked many hours raising funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Through the Skate-A-Thons I held at my skating center, we had so many wonderful volunteers that became actively involved in the foundation. What started as a small part of community involvement became, for me, a lifetime commitment. You are to be applauded for the talent that shines through. Your rays of hope are the very fabric that strengthen you. God bless you, Cathy. Love~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Cathy thank you for expressing yourself bravely and expressing concern for others with MS..as long as there is hope the light of faith shines...things can change overnight in this fast moving world and that's how fast a cure or better medication can appear on the scene.... sincerely.......ethome |

Cathy, it is your abundance of hope that will get you where you want to be. You have shown me over the years how to be strong just by watching you and your attitude toward life....this is a wonderful poem from your heart I know....and I wish you were close enough for me to hug right now. Smiles as always....much love. |

Cathy I admire you courage and your strength...your brother speaks so highly of you and I know some of what you endure from contact with other friends...to be able to write so beautifully about this painful and debillitaing disease shows such sensitivity that it makes me cry. never say never |

Cathy* Knowing how difficult this disease is I understand how giving up would entice you for a moment or two.....but that's not in your spirit...that shows in your writing and in your heart. Your poetry is a gift to your soul and to us, thank you so much for showing it to us and allowing us the chance to get to know you. This was wonderful work Cathy...A.K.A. my new beautiful sister ![]() |

Cathy, this brought tears to my eyes. One of my best friends has MS, and I admire your struggle, but having seen her I know how much strength it takes to remain positive within the grasp of this disease. My thoughts and prayers to you, I wish you every luck in your fight, and in you life. Hugs, Tess "A clay pot sitting in the sun will always be a clay pot. It has to go through the white heat of the furnace to become porcelain." --Mildred W. St |
