When first blush fades from precious bloom his presence I suspect A shadow in a darkened room where light will not reflect When crystalline clear water clouds below somewhere he lurks I dare not speak his name out loud once summoned from the murk he'll steal the light from shining eye and joy from laughter's peal to clip the wings from hope that flies in face of what is real Mine enemy unto the last I'll not let him intrude For I have learned as time has passed we are as one " Sub-Dude " |
