Something about that dreaming look
You looked into my eyes,
‘Bout all you gave but never took
That took me by surprise.

Something about that simple smile
That simply stole my heart,
That touch of love, of life worthwhile,
Touching you did impart.

In all my life I never dreamed
A love so strong as this,
Till every light of heaven gleamed
Of hope within your kiss...

...Till every painful moment past
Instantly passed away.
The reasons come clear at last,
Hearing you say you'd stay.

...Till Joy began this memory
I'll forever hold true.
Seeing the best thing about me
In something about... you.
