Talk-show tatlers hanker
For exclusive interviews.

You've written a concerto?
You've discoverred a vaccine?
You've patented the secret
Of a frictionless machine?

The great American novel
You've published yesterday?
You've astonished all the critics With a tragicomic play?

Or is it that your formula
For purchasing of shares
In the market has created
Eleven million millionaires?

Have you processed chocolate candy
That when eaten takes off weight?
Or found a way to schedule flights
So planes are never late?

Ah, none of the above, you say.
The sole basis for your fame
Is being a contestant
On a reality TV game.

ah...the 15 minutes of fame...grins to you one this one. Oddly enough, I do not watch television, and I don't read tv oriented material...and somehow, I still "survive"...
