I Am But A Paper Doll

Fashioned out of just paper
someone you can dress to fit your
every mood, this is how
you see me no value I am to you.

If not to your liking
then with a flamboyant jolt you
undress my
attire to fit what you desire.

On my better dressed days
you find it most amusing to strip
away my feeling
high just because you can.

Fashioned out of just paper
something of not much value is how
you perceive me
to be, making sure I know this is
were you stand.

Flesh and blood means
nothing even though you made public
your vows to treasure me,
no matter which way we were to land.

Now I wait for the moment
in time to dress with vim and vigor
and paste you to the
wall with no more than cheep glue.

How could you possibly
ever think that this flimsy paper doll
you dress to fit your
every mood would ever have the stamina
to walk all over you.

Cerenity,
It reminds me of the joke how many men does it take to wallpaper a room. Answer, four but you have to slice them thinly.
You paper the walls with him darlin'. Powerful write.
Be well

Well after reading Kethry's reply I believe it makes more sense to me than what I had in mind.  Though I am a guy, I have to say I agree with her.  Excellent verse in form and flow and Loaded to the hilt with power.  I do believe you are one paper doll constructed out of the highest quality stock.

Hi Everyone,

I was feeling a bit tierd last night of being RIPED to shreds for NO reason at ALL, just redid the tile floor and hehe have a five gallon bucket of some glue that would stand the test of ages what do you think, just kidding. I am glad you could understand what the poem was about, thank you so much for your kind replys.

Love, Cerenity

Cerenity - such a powerful voice you used here - I especially like the way you ended this poem - as for the paper clothes *lifting the tabs ever so sneakily to see if they slip off the shoulders*

Hi LngJhnAg,

Oh yes and when the time is right it is going to take some allful powerful glue remover to pull him self from the wall and as for the paper straps they are glued as well smome day when the time is right and love fills the air.

Well there is always at least one joker in very pack of cards in the same when that there is one creep ( the word I would like to use it a bit too colourful ) to give the rest of us a bad man. Cerenity I know how some men can be, being one myself, and I would say dump the guy because you deserve the best. Wonderfully written piece, be a doll for no one.
