State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-09-18 10:58 AM

**Co-written by Paula Finn**

With a kiss to say good morning
And your arms to hold me tight
It reaffirms the dream I've had
All this lonely night

We face a new day together
Our love, fresh as the morning sun
From the moment I looked in your eyes
I knew you were the one

The one that restored my faith in love
And brought me out of the dark
The light that lead me to the shore
When the future looked so stark

The symbol that reflects our love
Still shines brightly in the sky
For every heart that's ever wished
I tell this tale tonight

If ever you should look upon
That one bright lonely star
Know your love is wishing too
Though they be near or far

It only takes a moment
To make that wish come true
That star was always shining there
To lead my heart to you

"Know your Love is wishing too
though they be near or far."
I have always believed those words and I am thinking perhaps the woman I am with now shares the same wishes and desires..James

Oh, you two.....this is so special!! What a wonderful piece of poetry you have penned together.  It's like a diamond in a black velvet sky......it sparkles!!!

            Very beautiful.........

Today is a gift....
That is why they call it
'the Present'!

This was like taking a breath of fresh air........what a great read. Jeffrey, I am sad to see that you won't be posting for a while but in the same breath I understand. You two are well paired and the flow of this was great........fellings we all should experience. Take Care.

Yup, we need a duet's forum, for sure.

Good stuff here...
