Slim to None

I wonder why
nobody wants to be with me.
I wonder why?
I wonder why
no one seems to care for me.
I wonder why...
my hopes are next to impossible,
my dreams seem unreachable,
my feelings are all emotional,
my desires totally regretable,
my goals are usually unsetable,
my accomplishments ungetable,
and my heart so unobtainable.
I wonder why
my Love life is slim to none
and I was just thinking
you were the one
til you said goodbye
and now you don't have any
time to tell me why.
And it is becoming apparent to me
that you don't need me like I need you
and I wonder why.

James,

I wish I could reach through the screen and give you the biggest hug.  I have been here so many times and I know the hurt all to well.  Don't give hope my talented friend... your soulmate will come.

Good morning James,
I read this poem yesterday, and didn't reply as I was in a hurry. But I thought about what you have written, and here I am. Very touching James, I know how you must feel. Keep plugging my friend, and it will happen, when you least expect it. My wishes, I pray will help.

James

You expressed your feelings well and I can feel your hurt.  You have friends here and I too wish I could hug you.  Hang in there and keep writing.  You are really marvelous!

Jmlee,
This is a very touching poem. Filled up to the top with emotion and I have read it now a couple of times but have found it a little hard to reply to as it's content is quite sad. I hope you find your star. You write very well and I will look for more of your posts.
Sage.

the questions we ask ourselves

why?
why?
why?

we may know the answers
we may know the answers before we even ask

is it because of fate?  of another day to bring another question?  or the way of the utterly romantic and tragically woed?

we are all alone, even with others.  in our hearts, we think we have more.  in our minds, we have only ourselves.

I think you captured an emotion that many of us have felt from time to time. Hang in there, if you are really writing this from the heart, when you least expect it, things will get better!

jmlee12345-I understand and have been there, I can only tell you to have faith that it will come in time and believe.  A very tender piece from your heart and nicely felt.  Hugs, you have a friend.
