Hey everyone, good to be back after my looong vacation in Europe. Hope summer has been good on everyone and that you all coninue sharing your poems and thougths...Love you all.... NEW BEGINNINGS So why do I feel like this Why do I sence the remarkable bliss Who made me see that the end wasnt near Time to let go of the feelings of fear Sleeping without you is sleeping alone Sleeping together is also alone Being your shoulder is making it right The comfort you need when it`s cold in the night And here`s to new beginnings Here`s to blurring all the scars It`s still all about the winning But we can`t always be the stars Under the forthcoming sun Lie the battles that noone have won There is an ocean of tears if you care Mountains of troubles if you want to bear It`s really simple if you learn to see Reach for the angels and learn to be free I`m in no hurry I have no regrets I`ve learned to forgive but I never forget And here`s to new beginnings Here`s to turning your back on it all It`s still all about the winning But you can always get up if you fall And here`s to new beginnings Here`s to letting them know that you`re strong It`s still all about the winning But you`re letting them think you`re wrong Make up your mind and decide Nothing can hurt like the loss of your pride Your closest friend bears the name of despair Crying alone `cause there`s no-one to care Stand up, don`t waste your whole life on your knees Make your own choices and quit saying please Don`t stand the pain just because you are scared Ending up like the loser `cause you never dared And here`s to new beginnings Here`s to being the best you can be It`s still all about the winning But you can`t win a thing No you can`t win a thing…..I you never learn how to see…. -nando- Ask me how to live your life, and this to you I´ll say: make your choises true and wise, so that when tomorrow will arise, you´ll smile at yesterday... |
