I have a song inside of me,
It longs to be let out.
I keep it locked within my soul
And feed it on self-doubt.

I don't know if I'll hear it sing,
I surely hope I do.
Perhaps, one day, it will join in
With other peoples' too!

And once together, they will blend
Into a mighty throng!
Would that not be the perfect end
To one determined song?!

Oh I love this English Rose! I can almost hear the song building from the multitudes ... getting louder and louder ... I really enjoyed this verse!

She writes the songs
inside each day
and store the notes
safely away

Then one day
in sweet September
to the music
she surrenders

Bursting forth
in earnest praise
capturing the moment
in her song-sung days

this early September morn !
