Not the best but whatcha expect on such short notice

Mr. Kitty Kicker

There was a man named Long John
Meanest sailor of the sea
He was a kitty kicker
Was as mean as he could be

They knew he was arriving
For his leg it was a peg
Little kitties scattered
It would do no good to beg

Long John filling up with pride
When he saw what he could do
Watching kitties go airborne
As in the ocean they flew

These kitties had-had enough
They began a vengeful scheme
They would get Ol' Long John back
One day they'd hear HIM scream

Finally they hatched a plan
So they hid and lied in wait
Long John he had not a clue
That those kitties were irate

LJ rounded the corner
And those kitties spied his leg
They would shred it all to bits
And not listen to HIM beg

They scratched and bit and shredded
That ol' leg that Long John wore
Little bit by little bit
Long John's leg fell to the floor

Long John he was so surprised
That the kitties had attacked
He was up and tried to run
But his leg is what he lacked

Kitties they did pounce on him
And slammed him in his gut
Long John started screaming, then
Fell and cracked his brand new butt

This morning I decided
To make my kitty's day
And so I got a shoestring out
To engage her in some play.
Her first leap was quite awesome
But now a sharp pain lingers
For instead of grabbing the string
Her claws sunk in my fingers!
She meowed apologetically
And tried hard to convey
She didn't mean to hurt me -
She was thinking of LJA!!!

LJA I would say is in quite a state
As his chance for purring is now blown
Upon his face they will all "u***8"
Marking a spot for each as their own.

Rebecca - I am appalled at this story. You promised me that noone would ever hear of this tragic scene. You PROMISED!!! And now, look at me. You've truly humbled me *tears streaming down my face*. Incidently, I really enjoyed the poem. Hugs to you.
