"Something must be wrong with you !"
Says the demon in the night.
"Everyone has love but you !"
The demon must be right.

"You knew right and you knew wrong,
Now look at what you've got !
You did right and have no more,
Than others who did not."

"Those who do my will, find love !"
He torments with a hiss.
"Listen friend to what I say,
And you'll find a lovely Miss."

"Kindness, love, respect and care,
They make me laugh !" He roared.
"YOU gave all those things, my friend !
And did she not grow bored !!??"

"You cannot change my friend,
You'll always have this strife.
Do yourself a favor, friend,
And end your sorry life."

"Come my friend and take the gun,
You know you can trust me.
Your heart has been ignored too long,
Pull the trigger and be free."

If it seems that she was your world look around and you will see there is your world just waiting for you, with someone who will love you right and hold you tight and treat you right, love should be these things,Don't listen to what the voices say only listen to what's right and that's that you are part of God's creation, Love is all around you just reach out and join in. We all have troubles but we have joys to look at those and focus on them so you can be renewed. This is a great poem the words flow so easily keep writing my friend and you will begin to understand your soul.

I should have added a note that this poem was written by me a little while ago. The original sting of those feelings is gone, but the dull throbbing of solitude beats on.

Some men see things as they are and ask "WHY ?" I see things as they could be and ask "WHY NOT ?"

Stranger,
could we be friends? Loved the flow and strength of your poem.

The demon speaks
Why do we listen?
For we know not
The gifts we've been given. . .

The voice still speaks, don't listen. . . listen to your heart. . . the shield of your heart, the sword that is your pen. . .

Well done. . . superb poem. . .
