The Morrow's Call As I lay 'neath the night's lavender glow tonight, you fill the mind. Attuned, clouds drifting, shadowing the moon, as stars peek modestly from behind. Restrained, memories replay the day intently felt I, your gaze. Trembling, at thoughts of caressing, each touch joining the night, in it's haze. Will these moments be fleeting of muse, wondering... What shall the morrow bring? As it silently enters it's tender display of eternities song to sing. Throughout the heavens the skies cross-streak while in front of the moon, mists the dark. As the coolness weighs down and blankets the night, mind travels the strain of a lark. Oft skyward in flight, my heart fluttering, in beauty, the night's reward. As the sun rises east meeting lavender haze, once again, the golden's restored. A promising start to a new renaissance, lending it's warmth over all. Ever extending it's arms reaching wide answering needs of each morning's call. ©M/M *2k [This message has been edited by MMoonchild (edited 09-05-2000).] |

Maureen, this is so very beautiful and exudes your warmth throughout.... Steve B “The union of the mathematician with the poet, fervor with measure, passion with correctness, this surely is the ideal” |

Maurine - Very well written - just the right amount of simile to keep it from getting lost while retaining an ethereal quality. Yes. Very well written sums it up. |
