Nightmare You feel your heart racing as Your eyes strain to see in the Thick cover haze of the night You stand, not seeing, not knowing Which direction to step Soft whispering begins.. high pitched Insane giggles and laughter As the whisper grows louder You feel you heart pound As you look helplessly.. Fear forcing you to flee You begin to run… the giggles Louder.. chasing you ..closer Suddenly a scream escapes As you feel yourself falling Air whipping by you in a free fall The demented laughter growing louder Surrounding your being.. your thoughts You feel cold hands grabbing.. Pulling you clothes.. hair… The psychotic laughter taunting you You struggle, your heart beating , Threatening to explode with the scream That escapes your lips. You feel yourself jerk.. and suddenly You are sitting.. your breath rushing In and out in starved gulps And you realize it was all just A nightmare. |
