I Don't Want To Give You Up There is something about knowing The one you love might leave That you can't ever have their love again Their sweet gentle kiss Tiny breaths on your neck Some things are disheartening when you realize you Simply dont want to let go So scared to face the future Sweeping up the past Sincerely wishing for things that can't be I won't lie to you It's inevitable that I'll cry I can't hide the hurt and fear inside Insisting everything is all right I don't want to give you up But separate we must Before bitter memories sweep in Burning everything behind us Be it as it may I know this .....I still don't want to give you up..... ~To Matt~ Time flies? I have thought about it.... Thats part of the reason it sounds so sad. But if you still have the memories and you let the person go, is that giving someone up? ~Cuddlez~ Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |

Believe me, it took a lot of leaning on friends, writing poetry, tears and long walks to get this far. And I still dont want to give him up. Its been a yr and some mths since we "broke up" and we have been hanging on by a thread for all this time. Thing is... everyone's confused and I'm depressed always having feelings about him when he isn't mine (that and hes moving) so.... Thanks for your support. It is my firm belief that everyone is stronger and braver than they give themselves credit for.... Time flies? Say it not so, time stays we go. |
