"Let's Make a Wish" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ By Sunny1 and Bill Charles [She:] ~~~~~~~ Are you looking out your window? Do you see what I can see? When I wish upon a star, I close my eyes, and with my heart, I see you wishing back at me.. [He:] ~~~~~~~ I looked out of my window, and I can see your wishing star. The one when you close your eyes, is the same one we both can see. But I wish from so afar [She:] ~~~~~~~ When you look upon a rainbow.. Do the colors make you smile? Do you wish that life could be, filled with colors like you see, If only for a little while? [He:] ~~~~~~~ My rainbow is one of true love, and my smiles are in my heart. Many times have I been there searching for you. Why are we so darned far apart? [She:] ~~~~~~~ When you look upon a meadow.. filled with flowers everywhere.. Do you wish for just one day, on a blanket we could lay.. Let the sun dissolve our cares? [He:] ~~~~~~~ The meadow I have been, and the flowers I have smelled. A blanket would I lay on, and feel the warmth of you. As I become compelled. [She:] ~~~~~~~ When you see a full moon shining Does it make you want to dance? Do you wish forevermore, love would knock on your hearts door? Do you wish for some romance? [He:] ~~~~~~~ A full moon will shine tonight, and I ask you for this dance. As we hold each other tight, will we be given, just this one more chance? [She:] ~~~~~~~ I have wished a lot of wishes.. Some are gone, while some remain.. I wish tonight that I will find, your sweet love within my mind, Wishing out our windowpane... [He:] ~~~~~~~ My wishes are your wishes, never to be gone, but to attain. I have found you my sweet, and you’re always on my mind.. Nevermore wishing... out of.. our windowpane. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We Thank You!! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! Wow, I just love this! What a great idea to combine 2 talents... I'm just curious, how did you write it together? on-line? or first one wrote his part and then the other wrote the second part? Enjoyed it so much! Thanks! |
