Really Real She stated quite emphatically "I must have liposuction on my thighs fat is protruding everywhere right before my very eyes." She later thought that wasn't very much fun but now my thighs are perfect I must continue on. Next in line is a tuck for my bulging tummy. Don't even think about laughing it's not even funny. Just as soon as I get this tummy tuck it will surely change my luck. Guys will come from miles around to see the finest washboard belly in this whole town. She's not half finished yet can you guess what happens next you guys I can clue you in it's absolutely positively not Betty Davis eyes. Yes the time has come to spice up that shallow chest. Her next desire to be fulfilled a brand new pair of those saline implant breasts. Now I rarely see her face just two large breast protruding. And when I hold her in my arms they feel like two gun barrels intruding. I kid you not they seem to beckon me to come and touch and feel. Still the simple thought runs thru my mind with every bulge revealed. If these are fake why do they look so real. and how could something this large and luscious not be really real. If God had wanted everyone to look perfect, we would. This is very well written James. Everyone is an individual and as such we need to look the way we look. Great Write! Marina It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen Marina Crossley |

Ah James...what one would go through for perfection. But in my humble opinion, one should be thankful for what they were given to begin with and learn to be happy with it ![]() |

Thank you Marina and Hoot Owl for the nice responses...I am sorting out my feelings myself on this...I have watched two women go thru this experience and I have tried to understand the driving forces... I believe that we should accept who we are and find peace with ourselves yet some will seek the soothing of the plastic surgeon...will they then find the happiness they reach out for...I don't know...the solution is complex not simple... An endless circle of turmoil. This is very thought provoking and perhaps we all need to be able to just accept. The world we live in is so judgemental it is no wonder problems such as these have consumed us. The happiness I believe must come on the inside and when it does then the outside is lessened in impact....Great write. |

James, a whimsical look at a serious subject. Healthcare is one thing, but body altering is certainly another. The future will be quite revealing to us as to just what these procedures are doing to the women (and men) of today. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

I myself can not relate to this as I have never known anyone to undergo unneeded surgery...Plastic surgery in my book should only be considered as a last resort for something life threatening or deformities or obesity or whatever I think you know what I mean....But you added humor well to this it was an enjoyable read...... ![]() Julie ![]() [This message has been edited by JulieAnn (edited 08-03-2000).] |

Thank you Janet, Mark, Bill, Meadow, and Julie. Janet this is written from personal experience as accurately as I could portray the facts, feelings and desires. I have tried to look at this from a non-serious perspective...yet I am serious this is happening all around us...James |
