My innocence lost,
gone with the wind.
It's hard to explain,
why my childhood life had to end.
I will have a young child,
in months yet to come.
The question wanders my mind,
will he be the one.
The one to bring life,
bring joy to my heart.
To fill all the blanks,
when my family fell apart.
My lifes been a puzzle,
with pieces withdrawn.
Now my puzzles complete,
with the thoughts of my son

children do "fill all the blanks"....in our home,our heart,and our soul. May your son continue to be an inspiration to you throughout time! a very lovely poem!
