Someone who cares

Your broken heart is still beating strong for you
with the same strength and courage you always knew.
To your heart will you be true?
Sadness and pain are not the only emotions your heart
wants to share with you.
Imagine that healing and loving are all around.
If you reach out with your heart someone who cares can be found.
Let not the pain keep your heart away from the happiness
it will surely find someday.
Keep in mind that after the pain always comes healing
and healing is a desirable and precious feeling.
And after the healing new possibilities for love and romance
will live again in a heart that is willing.
My words are sure to be true.
When you are ready to let go of the pain
I know that happiness is waiting for you.

Jameslee@August28,2000
Wrote this for a friend that is experiencing the pain of a divorce to encourage her to look forward into the future for the healing and happiness that awaits her after the pain.  I'm afraid the stress is affecting her health.  We all deserve happiness.

Beautiful words of encouragement, and I believe they are true. I hope so, anyway.

James, I admire you for being such a caring friend. Your words are tender and encouraging, and have moved me as well, as it is often so difficult to firmly believe that the light will shine once again. Thank you for this illuminating message.

Hi James, this one sticks to me kinda like cotton candy...

I find the expression in this one quite compelling...

Your friend is indeed a lucky one to have someone like you around to offer hand and shoulder for some comfort and peace.

Terrific poem!!

James,
This heartflet poem is such a good way to tell someone you care about what's happening to them. It seems that so many other people(myself included) were blessed through reading your work.
Be well
