Are you looking out your window? Do you see what I can see? When I wish upon a star, I close my eyes, and with my heart, I see you wishing back at me.... When you look upon a rainbow.. Do the colors make you smile? Do you wish that life could be, filled with colors like you see, If only for a little while? When you look upon a meadow.. filled with flowers everywhere.. Do you wish for just one day, on a blanket we could lay.. Let the sun dissolve our cares? When you see a full moon shining.. Does it make you want to dance? Do you wish forevermore, love would knock on your heart's door, Do you wish for some romance? I have wished a lot of wishes.. Some are gone, while some remain.. I wish tonight that I will find, your sweet love within my mind, Wishing out our windowpane.... Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Hi Sunny, Another lovely writing of yours I have read. When you look upon a meadow.. filled with flowers everywhere.. Do you wish for just one day, on a blanket we could lay.. Let the sun dissolve our cares? "The meadow I have been, and the flowers have I smelled. A blanket would I lay on, and feel the warmth of the sun, as I became compelled." Just a lovely poem Sunny. |
