Tell me, when is it okay to simply give up and walk away? How long must we continue the fight, keep the struggle going on through the night? There has to be a point in time when it's alright if you lose your mind. Does it really matter what they say? Who defines 'sanity' anyway? What do you care if I dance in rain? I'm hurting no one. I'm causing no pain. So what if I wear my heart on my sleeve. I'll still survive if you choose to leave. Where is it written that men can not cry? They're thought less of with a tear in their eye. The moral fabric of the world is slightly torn. We care more about animals than children unborn. What happened to those who gave more than they took, chose a partner for life whom they never forsook? There were those who did what the good book said, always gave thanks for their daily bread. Today, people like that are never seen, or at least they're few and they're far between. I wonder, is it really a cardinal sin, if in the fight with death, you choose to give in? If you look long enough, problems you'll find. These are just a few thoughts that are on my mind. |

Wow! That's more than a few thoughts Tennessee Angel ... Very nicely penned! I wish I had some genuine answers, but I fear I struggle with many of the same questions (sigh) Best wishes and hopes for brighter days (and answers)  ,/Kit |
