Love Comes By Chance (weaving the fabric of romance...challenge) As the late summer sun, splashed it's red into the sea, and cool evening breeze blew, my eyes caught view of she. On veranda, overlooking bay, sipping wine at a local Inn. Both sitting alone, quietly gazing, 'til her visage sets heart arace within. In a trance, I'm lost to all about, even as I see her head turn to me, frozen in my stare, I can not move. Our eyes meet, her smile sets me free. Two glasses rise slight, in friendly greet. I stand, knowing love comes by chance. I try hard not to tremble as I near her, to begin weaving the fabric of romance. Steve B August 2000 |

Steve, this is simply superb. You've woven that heady thrill of anticipation and intrigue into your words here, and I found it quite intoxicating. Thank you ![]() ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
