You Scatter Moonbeams ~*Marge Tindal*~ You light up my dawning, warming me with the rays. Inviting me to come into your thoughts to play Touching upon my morning, sending sunbeams my way. Strewing my path with flowers each and every day. Then you scatter moonbeams, flinging them across my night. Stars in wonder scurry, just to catch a sight of the glow that you give me when all else seems amiss, you're the softly-reflected lunar light that touches my cheek with a kiss Moonbeams dancing with joy on this heart of mine. Taking me across the galaxy in shooting-star time. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
