You’ll never know how much you hurt me, because I can never tell you. You’ll continue on with life, because that’s what people do. You’ll think of me, just a passing thought. Only to wonder where I went. And why I am no longer such a visible presence in your life. But in time, I will fade from your thoughts. You on the other hand, will be a part of me always. I will live the rest of my life remembering you. Knowing you. Missing you. Not because I want to, but because you have made an impression on me that will never fade, ...a scar that will never heal. |

I can relate well to this poem, the pain of loving someone more than they love, remembering more than they do...thanks for posting |

Oh, this is sad. I hope it's not from your real life? |

Oh, Lucie~ The merry-go-round of life spins us around and drops us in another's playground ... when they leave there's no one left to push the merry-go-round so we have to rely on remembering how carefree and fun it was. That's what your poem brought to mind ... I hope life is treating you well. How is your little girl ? So good to see you here to visit. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
