Sundown

Driving along the endless band of tar
White markers flying by like thoughts
In front of me, the Sun so clear descending
Trees way ahead look like they were on fire
Upon this view of beauty, I send my thoughts to you
Across the land across the seven seas
The straight and narrow road leis silent ahead of me
Clear the sky no cloud no haze
A thought crossed my mind
A thought of peace and calm
If I have to go some day
I would like to go like the dying Sun
Leaving a warm feeling in ones heart
Forever more

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Hello, sweetheart~
So VERY good to see you !

I already give thought to you
when the moon if full in the sky ...
now this lovely thought will be with me
as I watch the setting sun .......

'If I have to go some day
I would like to go like the dying Sun
Leaving a warm feeling in ones heart
Forever more'

Simply a stunning feeling, dear one.

I thank you both for your kind words about the poem. It comes from the heart and I'm glad that it is received that way. Thank you, once more.
