And so it goes another day another love to cast away... another memory pinned to wall-- another fool-- I've had them all. Dismissed, am I-- under-estimated... but I will not count tears as wasted... every one was wall undone, each drop a silver of my soul... each prayer for you unmeasured gold... a feast before you left untasted. And no, you should not count me out... I've forty years of rage to shout... and unlike you, I take my pain, ease scorch of sun with tears of rain... I will not lock myself away. I live to love another day. |
