A humming bird majestic in its flight creates gossamer strips of wind in the moon's frail light. Thrusting against the petal's crest, he burns with desire stupefied he is, showing no signs of tire. Longing for that sweet nectar which was abundant three sunsets before rigid is that lily which once bared its core. Loyal is the humming bird for that lily's nectar did it share, a passionate taste of life by which no other flora could compare. Thus denied of its precious sweetness the humming bird retreated for another day. Awaiting in the bushes as the stealth predator, and the lily as his prey. Yet many moons passed and the humming bird lost its many hues to take flight of fancy the humming bird can no longer do. Then one day, he walked to the stem of that lily to bid his final good-bye.
