my last sunset ... upon my last night of lying still to see the sun setting as it will of pinkish purples and embered reds cloud's stretched fingers above my head an ocean of air to catch my breath may be the last before my death lock this sight away for keeps the last sunset for me it weeps hope to pass on in view of this scene heaven's sunset last of our dreams M.A. Miller 08.16.00 My calling before me, let quill be my offering; For to be called poet, no greater gift to receive. Perhaps the sun has set - but of this you can be sure - It invariably rises again - then you can write equally well of dawn... Good stuff, MA.. ![]() |

beautiful...would love to lay on a quilt and watch the sunset and the clouds and all of nature start to dance their dreams...I will have to wait for another watm night..I think I just might do that ~~soft smiles and thanks for reminding me of the beauty that is always there...if I just look up every now and then Maureen |

Wow, this is beautiful! I'm speechless, just so well written. Sauni Sauni :) Have you ever known the color grey when the nighttime finds you weak I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps |

"of pinkish purples and embered reds cloud's stretched fingers above my head" M.A. your sunset comes alive for the reader in this lovely piece. Lovely metaphorical writing, my friend, very tender. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |
