Getting Over It If I suddenly become optimistic, In so doing, shed my gloomy side - Allowing myself to accept as true The layering of this euphoria, Do I run the risk of loss Like overconfident people do? Should I tamp down this urge to smile, Worry over what I cannot control, Resist and destroy every prospect Wallowing in unworthiness?
