A guy I dated a while ago wrote the sweetest love letters. Unfortunately, between the handwriting and the spelling, I could never make out quite what they were saying. But apparently, I made him "laff" and other fun things. Recently, I was cleaning out a drawer and found one of these notes, a part of which, I had never quite been able to decipher. He said he was very "prald" to have me as a girlfriend. I sat and sat trying to figure out what in the world he had meant. And then it dawned on me. He spelled the way he spoke- with a slight country accent. He meant to say p-r-o-u-d. Dont wake the dead, Wake the dying, Don't change what you've said, Change what you're saying. |

think that there country accent will do it every time lmao I chat with a guy all the time that spells idea ideal as in... "you have no ideal" and at first I sat there stupified trying to figure out when ideals came into the conversation then it dawned on me that he'd meant to say idea needless to say my responde to "ideals" left him as baffled as I was ... I didn't have the heart to correct him (people in that chat call me the professor already because I notice mispellings oops) so I just let him go on thinking I was totally wierd lmao "A poet is one who spends a lifetime standing out in thunderstorms, waiting to be hit by lightning" ~Randal Jarrell~ |
