It's sort of like circular thinking. If you were asked a question with "...is that not true?", then I would think that if it is not true, you would reply yes. You just have to be quicker than the other guy. Or else you can simply repeat the question saying, "No, that is not true." Eh. Like a ship blown from it's mooringby a wind off the sea- I have been changed for good. |

Because the direct object is a negative, a positive answer (yes) would mean "not true" (false). If you give a negative answer then you create a double negative ( not, not true) which equals a positive - true. If you are looking for some sort of philosophical question or something - then, holy hell I don't know. CS |
