I walked around the airport for an hour and a half, paging and calling and annoying airport staff. I don't know what happened, but I just couldn't find them. The two most passionate poets, Michael and Miss Femme. So after I had searched so long I sadly turned and left. Leaving without seeing them and feeling quite bereft. As I walked out to the parking lot I looked up to the sky. And whispered to my Passion's friends a silent sad goodbye. I'm sooooo sorry I missed meeting you Michael and Femme.  |

I searched here and Femme searched there - Lucy we looked for everywhere. With Femme's smiling anticipation Of best friends meeting on vacation. But each with sad and longing face Ne'er could find Lucy anyplace. That you might be there and searching too - Our biggest fear it seems was true. So from our planes we waived goodbye To Houston and you with a sigh. We didn't know what else to do - Lucy, we're sorry we missed you. Lucy, I was very worried when we couldn't find you, as was Gen. I am very glad to hear your your voice, now, though. We would have loved to met you in person in Houston. Michael [This message has been edited by Michael (edited 02-08-2000).] |

Sorry you missed them Luc... done that once myself and ended up spending the night in the Huston terminal till the next morning. Better luck next time. |
