I go out every morning With a person known as Master. He strolls along behind me Unless I pull him faster. He likes to stop and talk When someone says "Hello," Unless I tug him on the leash, Which means it's time to go. He'll meander through a grassy park Admiring each and every tree And when I need to use one, The choice is up to me. And when we're back at home again, Each with a potent thirst, He turns the tap on and makes sure I get my water first. The way he stretches out at night To sleep upon the bed is fine. As long as he remembers that The foot of it is mine. I like my life with Master. I like to eat and sleep and play With someone smart and capable Who knows how to obey. |

The dog's life is so simple. Thanks for the smile this morning, Dom Mart. |

I enjoyed your presentation, and perspective. Your Master must be a fine fellow. |

Dom~ Ohhhhhhhh ! My pups thought this one was great folly. What fun is life from both ends of the leash. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
