I stood in line A decade or so I realized That now was time to go! The bellman called Out my number & name & Whispered that Life as I know it would Never be the same. He was speaking in gibberish As I signed on the line Telling me that I am the one Who decides on the time? The time of my stay & And the way I will leave the time of the day when I finally believe! BELIEVE in the storms & the clouds & the energy from there, I will decide on who goes & who stays near. Before I got into that bubble I saw others in lines that followed. Followed down to paths unknown, but Unlike mine they weren't going home. You reading this with your faiths and your hopes Just changing plans so you can cope. Yes, all you who believe in tomorrow For some reason I believe in Chaos & sorrow The sorrow and chaos that fills-up the time before I get back into that line. ONE before the energy I am. Before the Bell-man, yes you know who I am. Exist not knowing where you end up next, but ENJOY the ride that took up your time in that Long, long line. < !signature--> Blue Moon [This message has been edited by Chris Goodman (edited 02-18-2000).] |

So many things you said...so many you did not have to say. Life takes us for a ride or two, doesn't it? |

Life, to me is neverending. That is the way I like to look at it I suppose. I think that I have chosen to stay in this realm & in this form for "x" amount of time. I think most of the time we signed up for is spent needlessly searching for something we already have. Chris Blue Moon |

Hi Cris, It's in our nature to want and not be satisfied, and being alive can feel never ending when were not sure of what we want out of life. Liked your poem. Cerenity-1 |
