The first is the death of the dream.
A dream of love, and love released,
a sweetness unequalled, unrivaled on earth,
no match in heaven for angel or god,
surely, there is none greater.

The next is the death of the hope.
A hope of a dream, a dream revived,
a reincarnation in sight, in mind,
a tortured hope, a hope in pain,
but a hope none-the-less.

The last is the death of the Heart.
It comes with the sight the awareness of death,
of decaying dreams and buried hopes,
In shock the coils, recoils in fear,
Will I ever dream again?

Let winds rage, seas boil and years curse,
My love shal live everyoung in my verse.

It sounds like you've been hurt. It is all to easy to be jaded and it is hard to recover from this mindset, but I feel confident that whatever your situation, it will become clear what you need to do.
Keep writing and keep surviving.
