THIS IS FREE FLOW OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD SORRY IF ITS NOT THE BEST  I SHOULD HAVE KNOW WHEN YOU FIRST TOLD ME THAT YOU AND HER WERE OVER. I WAS SO HAPPY I COULN'T THINK STRAIGHT. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE "US" NOW BUT I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. IT WAS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. EVEN THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU LOVE ME AND YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU. I WAS SO HAPPY I BELIEVED EVERYTHING YOU SAID BUT I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN YOU SAID .... YOU WERE GOING THERE FOR "VACATION". I WAS SO HAPPY I THOUGHT "THEY ARE JUST FRIENDS" BUT I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THERE WOULD NEVER BE "YOU AND ME" I WAS SO HAPPY I WANTED TO BELIEVE THIS TIME COULD BE "YOU AND ME" BUT I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BUT I LOVED YOU WITH EVERYTHING I HAD. I WANTED TO BE WITH YOU FOREVER. I BELIEVED EVERYTHING YOU SAID. I BELIEVED THAT YOU REALLY LOVED ME. BUT I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. A sad song from a broken heart. I'm so sorry you were betrayed. Love certainly can be blind, sometimes reminds me of a little girl stumbling in glittering high heels, saying "They fit, they fit" in wishful thinking. Be wiser, but don't distrust everyone. |

You need to give yourself a little more credit. I think you`ve done a heck of a job If he`s not by your side,well that`s his loss. A rose for a friend.  Today is the first day of the rest of my life. And the begining of a new one. |

When words flow from a heart, be it from a heart full of love and compassion, or a heart recently broken, those words have the ability to transcend all boundaries and reach deep into someone's soul. You've done this here. I sometimes think that people should just write as things come from the "top of their head" It gives us an opportunity to take a deeper look into a persons soul and personality. Thank you for allowing us this deep into your life, for trusting us with your words. Chris |

Lots of things to think about here. I have wanted to love someone that wasn't really my destiny and no matter how hard you try they only want to be your friend. Most of the time I know the very moment I meet someone if I am interested and exactly how far I would be willing to go with a relationship. Be it get away from me, a friendship, a companion, a lover, or a desire for marriage. So, now I know how I feel but I still need to know how they feel. I know from lots of experience the answer is no, are you crazy, maybe, let me get back to you, we'll see, lets start with a friendship, and sometimes yes. And now we have a beginning if we have a yes because we are both willing to give some of our time to the other and now we can discover if our friendship will grow or disapear. Sorry I went on so long. Very nice poem and I don't blame you for wanting to give it a try. We just need to know when to count our loses and move on looking for the right one for us !!!!!!!!!! James |
