My father-in-law’s a great man This I must concede He’s always displayed good virtues Never a thought of greed He married out of college A woman he adored He didn’t walk with God then She brought him to the Lord He could’ve been a pro golfer He still displays that gift Playing with Chi Chi and Arnold His ego didn’t lift From one drug store to many A partnership that grew His boss saw his work ethic Now he has a lakeside view He started in a mobile home And his life was ever blessed He worked hard to the top And God gave him no less He would be the man to look to For all types of advice Anything from his golden lips Should not be doubted twice But I have the hardest head The wisdom that he grants I just can’t seem to follow He’s my father-in-law I can't!! All Day I Dream About Stanzas!! [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 04-17-2000).] |
