Happiness I need to tell you So you can understand In the way I feel for you You're more than just a friend I only asked for friendship And you taught me what to do But I guess I made a mistake As I fell in love with you From the first time I saw you I guess my heart had melt And as we became closer friends You understood the way it felt After all I have done There's only one thing to regret I should have kept on fighting for you Instead of giving up like that Happiness is a word Made of nine letters , that's true But mine resumes to only three You... |

LoneRanger~ How filled with longing and regret this is. So very sweetly you've phrased it. Sometimes ... it doesn't have the ending we want ... but that doesn't keep it out of our memories. *HUGS* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

"Who was that masked man?" "I don't know - but he left us this Sterling-Silver poem!" Excellent work! This is profoundly beautiful, and it touched me deeply. Thank you so much for sharing, and welcome to Passions!
