I saw my first rainbow today God's promise of love and better times Touched my broken soul As it touched Noah as he stood on a broken earth For the first time in a long while I felt love, REAL love Love for the One that will always be there The One who will never reject me As the storm blows on And the rains comes down And the sky is black with storm clouds In my own little word I saw, through the mist of rain Outside my window God's glimmer of hope His promise For, if I can get through this If I live through the flood And the storm within my soul I will be stronger... LoveBug, This is beautiful. So very true, He is the one who will be there through thick and thin, no matter what. The One we can count on to help ease the load when the burden becomes too heavy to bear. Wonderful message and poem!!! Sweetheart: However bad the storms, the sun will one day come along and peep through the clouds...I like to think that nature brings us so much beauty that we can find a little peace...I love all the elements, love to stand in the rain, hear the thunder, watch the clouds as they race each other and turn my face to the sun to feel its warmth because nature can't hurt you, it can only bring peace and so I hope that rainbow you saw will bring you peace as well.. HUGS |
