Chains Of The Heart

Living a prisoner to my own end,
give to me what my soul needs.
Free of these chains that bind me,
that hold my heart captive.

Show me the way to find freedom,
and to break down the walls I
have built so sturdy and fortified
this rock mass of time.

The soul that posses the tools
to tear down my impenetrable
walls with chains locket tight
will have to show so very clearly
unwavering love and posses the
strength to endure my tempest soul.

My hearts desire is to share a
dream made reality with no
boundaries, for-spent laws, no
time warp in loves linear arts.

I so want to give to one such as
this a love never experienced,
without fear of rejections or
judgments. To this one the
wanting to always return with
a groping for more.

I would show this one the true
nature of a hearts willingness
to abide by the governing laws
of loves domain, if there were
such a soul that possessed such
unwavering commitment.

At this time in locked abode I
maintain my distance in fear
of there being no end to my
dream state, and no one with
the key to unlock the chains that
hold me prisoner.

This speaks volumes about the feeling of lonliness....keep your head up things can get better....and I see you finding a "soul with such an unwavering commitment" in your future

Very nice writing.  I like the title and you did a very good job expressing how a chained heart feels.
"no time warps in love's linear arts"
interesting and creative line.
Good job.

Cerenity....

This is a remarkable poem. I always fully and extensively enjoy your works. And although I don't reply to them all, I love each and every one of them (and yes, I've read a whole lot of em!) I'm actually jealous. hehehe. You have a lot of excellent talent. Have you been published? If not, please look into it. It would be great for you to get exposure...and I'm sure the whole world would love to read your works

Hi Aimster,

You just gave me such a compliment I don't think you know just how much, if you would read a poem by me that is now in the (search)

Hi SorrowsMystress,

I know this is going to sound crazy but I look for your work all of the time you write like I think and I love your work very much, we seem to be from the same area of this planet too, I went to your web page its wonderful, I've been in San Deigo all of my life, and I woulden't know were to look for the getting published stuff.

Thank you both so very much, these tears that I cry right now are of total joy.

Love Cerenity
