New Rendezvous
~*Marge Tindal*~

One backward glance
at yesterday's romance
is all I'm gonna take
Stepping forward
to the 'morrow
a brand new
rendezvous
I make

No longer
am I locked in time
of long remembered pain
Forward to the 'morrow
new promise to be gained
Shedding now the shackles
that bound me once to you

Free to soar
anxiously
I explore
the taste
of love's
new wealth
Free at last
from the past
of loving you more
than I loved myself
Heading for the hue
of tomorrow's rendezvous

This is lovely...and such a precious message...one that I have been embracing with eager anticipation.   I have often thought after the heatbreak of a failed relationship that there must be something good about breaking up.  And then I start meeting someone new and I realize that I never would have met so many new and interesting people if I was still stuck in my past relationship.   When the heartbreak is over the new opportunities have only just begun.  I believe Karen Carpenter sung a song about that.   James

Marge........this is great, and very timely for me as well. It is a precious feeling to realise that you can love again and to feel the freedom of which you speak.

Marge,
I firmly believe that we all need to make a commitment to ourselves to be happy and not dwell in the past. Live each day like there was no tomorrow. For in reality tomorrow is still today.

Esmeralda~
Thank you so much.
Each new rendezvous is delightful
in our lives.

James~
Sweetie, all relationships are meaningful,
if only in our memories.
'We've Only Just Begun' is one of
Karen's loveliest songs.  I think that's
the one you are referring to.
Thank you.  *HUGS*

EagleOne~
I'm so glad that this little piece
touched you.

Martie~

UPLIFTED ... fits the mood perfectly.
