Do you hear the whispers, ...whispers of the night, Calling out come fly with me, ...upon love's wings of flight? A' sail on winds that call your name, ...sweet Rose of my desire, We shall soar amongst night's stars, ...ever climbing higher. Adrift upon the winds of time, ...past glow of Luna's light, As Polaris guides our way, ...our hearts as one unite. Do not you feel the feathered touch, ...of kiss upon your brow, As I take you in my arms, ...and to my Rose avow... Forever and forevermore, ...am touched by welkin's light, Together we shall sail the skies, ...you are my Rose, my night. [This message has been edited by Mike (edited 04-12-2000).] |

(Picking myself up off floor, cause I fell outta my chair!) Okay....I can't take it no more! I read the first stanza, and I KNEW this was gonna be good - did I say good? I meant fabulously exquisite! I just HAVE to know who this lucky lady is, so I can shake her hand! Man oh man.....Mike, you have a way with sending everyone spiraling into magical oblivion with your words...I just can't say that enough!!! (pounding fist on desk!) I can't take it!!! Out of all the guys that write here, you have to be one of the best when it comes to that tender "magical" touch. I'm not just saying that either....Within your words, I could fly forever! <<<  |

Very cool. Lucky girl indeed. "The storm rises up when the shadows descend every beat of my heart every day without end I will stand like a rock I will bend till I break till theres no more to give if thats what it takes I will risk everything I will fight I will bleed I will lay down my life if thats what you need every second I live thats the promise I make" I have no idea who wrote this... tell me if you know. =) |
