double-edged sword

how is it that you
can be my best friend
and worst enemy
all at the same time?

all the fun we have
all the secrets we share
all the love that is passed
between our hearts...

none of it matters sometimes.

lies puncture the heart
and all the love
bleeds out.

i feel as if you
have stolen my dagger
and my shield
and used them both against me.

my mind is encirlced
with thoughts of you,
yet, i can't find the good memory
that makes me forget the bad.

forgiveness isn't nearly as easy
the second time around.
why does it have
to be like this?

how is it that you
can be my best friend
and worst enemy
all at the same time?

Hi weaubleau,

Oh boy can this happen and to understand and except is the very worst part about it and I don't think you ever quit figure it out. For me it is a peice of baggage I will never get rid of. Hope you do find some answers.
