Listen. . . can you hear it?
Floating through the air like leaves?
A song so wonderful, sweeter than the birds'
A song so quiet, that only with a
heart of love can it be heard.
Can you hear it?

Listen. . . can you see it?
Filling the sky like the arc of a rainbow?
A song so colorful, so much love does it hold
A song so rare, rarer still than the
ever desired pot of brilliant gold.
Can you see it?

Listen. . . can you feel it?
Caressing your cheek like a wisp of silk?
A song so touching, so light and so fine
A song so exquisite, for you and you alone
to tell you that I'll love you for all time.
Can you feel it?

So should there come a day
That you ever need my love and I am away
Go outside and whisper to the wind soft and low
I will hear your voice and whisper back,
                 "I know my love. . . I know. . ."

Sven~
This is soooooooo pretty.

'Caressing your cheek like a wisp of silk'

'So should there come a day
That you ever need my love and I am away
Go outside and whisper to the wind soft and low
I will hear your voice and whisper back,
"I know my love. . . I know. . .'

Truly tenderly done.
Lovely, Sven.

What wonderful new inspirations you must have to write such a beautiful poem.  But I heard that in the wind.

poetic winds do blow in this my friend...
i hear it and feel it in this... very nice Sven...I think this is my most fav of yours...love it!!
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Oh my goodness, I could die!     This is wonderful, love it!

May I never be too busy to help another's load,
Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.

Beautiful words of comfort for your heart's true one, indeed the king of romantics.
