My froggy prince

The flowers bloom
the breeze is strong;
the night too short,
the day too long...

Our eyes twinkle
as we play.
We smile and laugh
our time away.

We gaze into
each others eyes,
you treat me like
I am a prize.

the Promise rings
that we both wear-
are causing our friends
to stop and stare.

We have spent
7 months together,
and have experienced
some stormy weather,

But, my Froggy Prince
you see...
how very much
you mean to me..

And on the day
that "we do wed"
tears of joy
shall i shed...

Wedding vows
are precious things..
and so, of course
are Wedding rings...

But above all else,
'specially this is true...
There's no one alive
more precious than you!

Dedicated to my Richard on our 7th month anniversary. (our pet names for each other is froggy...he's my froggy prince.. 'cause u gotta kiss a lot of frogs , before u meet your prince,..and i tell ya..i was getting pretty tired of the pond scum ..Then I met Rick...and life is good!!!)

Grins...thabnks...our anniversary isn't until the 18th...but i wrote that poem yesterday, and figured since i posted wedding vows, i'd post this one too
