Opinions in our Pockets ~~~~~ Lets keep opinions in our pockets at the bottom out of sight Wrong conclusions to a problem seldom sheds it any light ~ An altercation row or ruckus when too hasty we decide Perhaps can be avoided once we see the other side ~ As we wander on our journey try to look beyond ourselves Extending all the olive branch instead of who to pelf ~ If we try to lend a helping hand with smile upon our face Our deeds could root throughout the land and save the human race ~ We can find the best solutions ditch the ones we thought we knew Pull together for the better watch what other people do ~ With our friends around our table and our lights all burning bright We will never trip and stumble past the answer in the night ~ Develop wisdom used with caution always stop to look around Try to greet our new Horizon with our feet upon the ground ~~~ I'm not ugly! I'm just visually challenged! |

Whoa, This has givin me alot to think about. Very true and important message. As my sister once said in one of her writings "Why don't we take off our "pettycoats". Made me think of that. The opinions of others perpetuates (or can) such negative feelings. I loved the way you expressed this. |
